United Truck Driving School, Inc is a fifteen day, (Mon-Fri), Basic Truck Driving Course suited for the entry level driver persuing a career in the trucking industry.
Our two hundred hour program is approved by the Tennessee Higher Education Commission and we are an approved training provider for the Workforce Investment Act of Tennessee. United Truck Driving School is also one of the only driving schools in East Tennessee that has a Tennessee State certified C.D.L examiner on staff.
We are a small school located just outside of Dandridge, Tennessee. We take no more than six students to a class and start classes every two weeks. Our small classes insure our students of getting the best training possible. Personal attention is given to every student to help them achieve their goal of becoming a safe, confident, professional truck driver.
At United Truck Driving School, we not only assist you in obtaining your C.D.L., but assist in getting all the endorsements (Haz-Mat, Doubles and Triples).
Our classes consist of trip planning, log book, record keeping and map reading. On our backing range, you will be backing on a 45 degree and 90 degree angle also sight and parallel parking. We will also teach you the 108 item pre-trip inspection as required to obtain your Commercial Driver License. On the road driving at United Truck Driving School consist of various road conditions including 2 lane, 4 lane, mountain driving and city driving. Our city driving is primarily in the cities of Newport, Morristown and Knoxville.
