There are several requirements you must meet to secure your CDL, they include: being at least 18 years old to drive within the state, passing a medical exam according to federal guidelines and passing a written and skills test.

- H - Hazardous Material (Hazmat)
- N - Tanker Vehicle
- P - Bus Passenger
- S - School Bus
- T - Double/Triple Trailers
- X - Combination Hazmat and Tanker
