To drive a commercial vehicle across state lines, you must be 21 years old. Some other requirements for receiving your CDL include:
- You must speak, read and write English
- You must pass a written and road test
- You must guarantee that you do not have a drivers license in another state
- You must have a clean driving record
- You must have a social security number
- You must provide identification
