In order to obtain your Arkansas Commercial Driver’s License, you must be at least 18 years of age, with a Class D drivers license and possess a good driving record. You’ll also be asked to take a physical medical examination and applicants will be asked to supply two forms of ID from a qualified list.
Upon application for your CDL, you’ll be asked to pass a written general knowledge test given by the Arkansas state police. You’ll then take a skills test at one of six locations statewide. This road skills test covers vehicle inspection, basic skills and driving.
